Goal
Supervisors and social workers engage community resources and social networks to support youth in developing relationship skills and life long familial and community connections.
Objectives
- Supervisors will understand the importance of permanent connections in supporting youths' successful transition to adulthood
- Supervisors will learn strategies for identifying youths' personal connections as potential permanency relationships
- Supervisors will learn strategies to communicate with kin and foster families in planning for youth.
- Supervisors will have an understanding of what resources are available to help youth build the skills needed to acquire in order to achieve self sufficiency.
